Due to the city's continuous settlement some structures have disappeared in the course of building and rebuilding. Although it had been suggested that the location of the ancient theater, which was the most important public structure inAttelia in antiquity, should be near to the Mansion of Marbles, inrescue excavations in the north of the settlement it has been determined that Theatre of Attaleialies under the foundation of few parcels that lineUzunçarşı street, with an arched gate and some seats which are made of limestone and travertine dating from the Roman Period unearthed in these excavations.
