Mevlevi Lodge
One of Mevlevi lodges widely distributed in and beyond Anatolia from the late 13th century onwards, where Mevleviyeh education and training was conducted is within the Yivli Minaret Külliye (Complex). It is also claimed that in fact the building was constructed as a harem connected to the palace in this area in the 14th century and converted into Mevlevi lodge after 200 years. The building is recorded as abandoned in 1929 after it had lost its function as a Mevlevi Lodge after the closure of lodge, zawiya and tombs in 1925. The building was restored in 1955 to serve as a depot during the period the Yivli Minaret Külliye (Complex) was used as museum until 1972 and has functioned as the State Gallery of Fine Arts after being renovated after this date.
