Muratpaşa Municipality will participate in the workshop to be held in Sweden in the third phase of the international education program, where the Council of the Elderly, Foreigners' Advisory Board, the digital democracy application komsumeclisi.com and its work for disadvantaged segments of society were accepted. Muratpaşa Municipality will share its Antalya experiences at the workshop.
The third phase of the Human Rights-Based Approach Advanced International Education Program run by the Swedish International Center for Local Democracy (ICLD) will be held in Sweden in March. The program, in which Muratpaşa Municipality takes part together with Mersin Metropolitan Municipality and Istanbul Esenyurt Municipality from Turkey, aims to integrate a human rights-based thought into municipal services and works.
The second workshop of the training program, which started with an online workshop in March last year, was held in Skopje, Macedonia. At the Sweden Workshop to be held in March, Muratpaşa Municipality, Council of the Elderly, Foreigners' Advisory Board, Turunç Masa, Turkey's first digital democracy application komsumeclisi.com, Neighbor Solidarity System and its services and works for disadvantaged social segments will share their Antalya experience.
All expenses related to the workshop, which will be held between 14-25 March, will be covered by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. Muratpaşa Municipality will also hold talks with the authorities to organize the closing workshop of the training program in Antalya. On the other hand, Muratpaşa Municipality will make a special presentation at the workshop regarding the Kaleiçi Old Town Festival, which will be held for the 7th time this year.
