The Blacksmiths Bazaar And The Stove Museum

Old Bazaar of Blacksmiths is production area and means of living of various tradesmen and craftsmen as in each middle-sized residential area. The traditional crafts such as blacksmith, coppersmith, tinsmith and stove manufacturer maintained production and repair and maintenance work until modern times in the bazaar, but it lost its traditional architecture and workshops due to reconstruction in the area in 2009. A statue of Ahi Evran Veli who is accepted as the founder of the Ahi Community and also the first Museum of Stoves in Turkey opened for visitors in 2013 were raised in the middle of the converted area in which mostly old and modern metal souvenirs are sold today. In the Stove museum, basic tin stoves, kitchen stoves that were the indispensible heating and cooking tools of the kitchen, fireplaces produced in Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries and tile stoves are displayed together.
