Antalya Toy Museum was a project of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and completed its structure through the counseling of researcher author Sunay Akın the museum was opened in 2011 on the 23rd of April, on National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Extending from the 1860’s down to the present day, there are about 3 thousand toys in the museum, including examples of toys from Anatolia. The Toy Museum is the second-largest toy museum in Turkey after the Istanbul Museum. In the museum near the exhibition there are also workshops for children and women.
