7th Kaleiçi Old Town Festival held in 13-16 October 2022
Organized by Antalya Muratpaşa Municipality, Kaleiçi Old Town Festival, which brings together all the ancient cities in the world, is held for the seventh time between 13-16 October.
Kaleiçi, located within the borders of Muratpaşa/Antalya, is one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world, which has hosted many civilizations dating back to ancient times.

In order to introduce Kaleiçi to the world and to carry the historical and cultural heritage of Kaleiçi to future generations, the Kaleiçi Old Town Festival has been organized since 2016 as a result of the initiatives of Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal.

More than 80 cities have participated in the festival, which aims to expand cooperation opportunities for the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage of living ancient cities, to find solutions to common problems, to increase interest in ancient cities, as well as to establish a permanent bridge of humanity and culture between cities.

The interest in Kaleiçi Old Town Festival, which has become one of the most important festivals in its field, is increasing every year. The festival, attended by representatives of 48 cities from 23 countries in 2019, was held online in 2020 due to pandemic restrictions. In 2021, 36 cities from 21 countries took part in the festival despite the pandemic.

International Kaleiçi Old Town Festival, where history meets art, the past meets the future, and the world meets Kaleiçi, will be held for the seventh time in Muratpaşa, the heart of Antalya, between 13-16 October.
