During the delegations' visit to the municipality, Mayor Uysal expressed that they could work together beyond the festival, saying, "We can collaborate on global issues."
Following the meeting at the Antalya Governor's Office, the delegations presented gifts from their respective countries to Governor Şahin. After leaving the Governor's Office, the delegations took a commemorative photo in front of the friendship panel created for the Kaleiçi Old Town Festival in Cumhuriyet Square.
A lively moment took place when students practicing their English by speaking with tourists interviewed the Mayor of Cork, Ireland, Cllr Joe Carroll.
The municipal delegations then visited Muratpaşa Municipality to meet with Mayor Uysal. In his speech, Mayor Uysal shared that approximately 130 cities have participated in the Kaleiçi Old Town Festival so far and that they maintain ongoing relations with around 400 cities. He emphasized that collaborative work could be done in various fields with these cities and said:
"We want to use this unity, this friendship, for the benefit of humanity and all our cities. We can collaborate not only on issues related to our cities but also on global issues. For example, we can work together on climate change, not just cultural heritage. All the work we will do will undoubtedly be for the common benefit of humanity. I thank you for your contributions, friendship, and solidarity."
Following his speech, Mayor Uysal presented the delegations with plaques featuring replicas of the historical mansion keys of Kaleiçi.
