The Turkish-Czech Cooperation Park is nearing completion
A similar Czech-Turkish Cooperation Park, which was opened in Prague 6 in the Czech Republic, the sister city of Muratpaşa Municipality in Antalya, will be established in Fener District. The park, located at the intersection of 1939-1940 streets, will be opened during the Kaleiçi Old Town Festival.
The ‘Czech-Turkish Cooperation Park’ was opened in June in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, to mark the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey and the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Acorns brought from Anatolia were planted in the park as a symbol of the friendship between the Municipality of Prague 6 and the Municipality of Muratpaşa.

Following the opening, Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal said that a similar Czech-Turkish Cooperation Park, which was opened in the sister city of Prague 6, will be opened in Muratpaşa on the basis of ‘reciprocity’
