Curve Lake Myths
Eğrigöl is just one of the unique beauties of Antalya, located
on a plateau between high mountains. A deep blue lake that
sleeps in the lap of green in spring and white in winter. They
call this beauty Eğri Göl because its extent between the moun-
tains is bumpy. However, it does not take its title only from this.
Just as there is a bitter pain before every beauty, its curvature
comes recorded in the local myth that is still circulating from
language to language.
